The RCVS team will be visiting Cardiff on Tuesday 31 May, for RCVS Regional Question Time. The meeting will be held at the SSE SWALEC Stadium, is free to attend and could count for up to three hours continuing professional development.
Regional Question Times provide an opportunity for veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and other members of the practice team to directly question senior figures at the RCVS on a range of subjects.
We will be splitting the the first half of the meeting into two streams:
Stream 1: General Q&A session
Stream 2: VN Futures
The groups will then come together for the second half of the meeting, to discuss topics that affect the whole team.
Possible topics for discussion include:
- 24/7 emergency cover
- Alternative dispute resolution
- Vet Futures and VN Vet Futures
- Mind Matters Initiative
- Our new Charter
- The regulation of veterinary nurses following the new Charter
- Practice Standards Scheme
The evening will begin with a buffet supper at 6:30pm with the discussion, chaired by RCVS President Doctor Bradley Viner, beginning at 7:15pm and finishing at approximately 10pm.
Please feel free to bring along any colleagues, veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses or practice managers who might find the evening of interest – just remember to register their details on the following pages.
